El Dorado district
El Dorado is a district in the heart of the touristic zone of Bavaro. In Punta Cana resort area on the east coast of the Dominican Republic. Most of the tourists who come here for a longer stay and rent an apartment choose El Dorado district. In addition, the residents of the country also like settling down in El Dorado district. Due to the proximity to the beach and good infrastructure.
It takes only 5-7 minutes to get on foot to the nearest beach with white sand.
Los Corales and Turquesa beaches are among the best in Punta Cana resort area. Right here, without hotels around you have a free and easy access to the beach. There are several beach bars and restaurants with loungers and beach umbrellas which you can use for free if you order some drinks. Moreover, the whole coastline in the Dominican Republic belongs to the state and is not a private property. Therefore you can freely walk and explore all the 18 kilometers (more than 11 miles) of Bavaro coastline and enjoy its magnificent beaches. The azure waters of the ocean here aren`t deep at all.
Most time of the year Los Corales beach is a really peaceful place with small waves. In case of the seaweed that comes from the Sargasso sea only in summertime the beach will be cleaned really quickly. The beach cleanup is done regularly and thoroughly by beach workers and using the special cleaning equipment.
All the essential infrastructure of the area is within walking distance. There are two small supermarkets, beauty salons, pharmacies, laundries, money exchange offices, car and moto rental offices. In a few minutes walk there is a variety of restaurants with international and local cuisine, grocery stands and bars.
In other words, if you come for a short vacation and live in El Dorado district, there is no need for you to buy or rent a vehicle.
However, if you decide to rent a car, then it will take only 25 minutes to get to the International airport of Punta Cana. The nearest supermarket PlazaLama is only 6-minute drive from here. And the bigger supermarkets SuperPola and Jumbo are a 15-minute drive away. You can get on foot in just 3 minutes to the big and well-equipped gym SoGoodFitness. It takes only 12-15 minutes in any direction from El Dorado district to get to the banks and other offices.
A route 105 runs through Bavaro and you can use it to get to the main highway Coral that leads to the capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo-Domingo. So the way to the capital will take about 2,5 hours. There are also intercity buses that will take you to the capital in 4 hours for 500 pesos (9 dollars) fare. Residences Grunwald, El Dorado and Coral Village also belong to El Dorado district.
The project El Dorado consists of 8 three-story buildings in Spanish style. The Plaza with all the offices of different companies and residential studios on the second and third floors also belongs to the project. Project Grunwald III is small and very comfortable. It consists of two lines of buildings situated near the large center pool. The territory is so green that when you`re at your terrace on the first floor it may seem that you sit right in the garden. This project provides only one- or two-bedroom apartments. But each apartment has a big terrace or a balcony. Every apartment has one parking place reserved. Grunwald III is considered to be the most quiet residence due to its location a little further from the main road.
Coral Village Project
Quite big new project with modern one- and two-bedroom apartments. The project has a classic Italian style including brickwork and columns with an arch near the central pool. All the apartments have stylish furniture with modern items. Equipped with Italian sanitary ware and comfortable kitchens. Every apartment has a small terrace or balcony. The doors have digital lock.
